Improving Access

Currently wheelchair users have to wait while their companion walks through the hall to open the emergency doors and then negotiate a wooden threshold.

We want to remodel the entrance to allow all users to enter together and we have planning permission for a new design.

 

The new entrance shown below will allow all users of the hall, whether on foot or in a wheelchair, to enter together, thus encouraging everyone to feel welcome to the facility.
